About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Letterkenny Munitions Center. Chief of the Inventory Division with responsibility for overall management, direction, control and supervision of personnel performing Inventory, receipt documentation, Storage, Audit and Quality Control (QC) Management duties.
Duties
Plan, direct, coordinate and review the overall work operations of employees engaged in the division.
Perform a wide range of duties in the inventory management arena which will include Quality Control Program, storage planning, receiving, shipping, Ammunition Transfer Reporting (ATR), key control processing.
Supervise a team of employees consisting of Distribution Facilities Specialists performing Storage Planning, Inventory and Receiving Supply Technicians, and Inventory General Supply Specialists
Manage and monitor the inventory quality control program to ensure compliance with governing regulations and policies of Class V ammunition.
Brief managers concerning storage and equipment issues.
Review and analyze information from automated systems to determine overall supply effectiveness and evaluates cost effectiveness of recommended system changes and problem solutions.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes : 1) Planning, directing, and/or implementing ammunition supply program policies and procedures. 2) Tracking and/or monitoring the receipt, storage, and/or issuance of ammunition, explosives, or wholesale material. 3) Researching and resolving complex supply issues. 4) Leading projects and/or personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
