This vacancy is for a GS-0343-14, Management & Program Analyst (IFL) located at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (CGA) in New London, CT.
Duties
You will serve as an Management & Program Analyst (IFL) and be responsible for serving as the Director of the Admiral James M. Loy Institute for Leadership (IFL).
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience must include the following:
Evaluating and recommending efficiencies in business processes and policies;
Supervising or leading a team that provides integration of strategic performance management;
Developing strategic and operational plans to meet program objectives;
Reporting, and analyzing data relating to operations and performance;
Providing technical advice to division and senior leadership on strategic initiatives; and
Conducting management studies, preparing statistical and analytical reports, briefing leadership on results, and making recommendations.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
