Duties
This series covers positions managing, supervising, leading, and/or performing administrative and management work.
Requirements

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS-12:: You must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Experience is defined as:
Experience supporting and evaluating the development of community benefits plans between the private sector, nonprofits, community organizations, labor, and government on large industrial and infrastructure projects including those in renewable energy, nuclear energy, power, transportation, or mining sectors.
Providing briefings to senior officials and reviewing or preparing background memoranda, presentations, and other key decision documents related to community benefits, DEIA, quality jobs, energy justice, community and tribal engagement.
Experience working independently and in groups, and by leading working groups, to develop, analyze, and evaluate new or modified program and management policies, regulations, goals, or objectives.
Experience working with tribal governments including understanding and participating in government-to-government engagement and working with the private sector to encourage and facilitate tribal engagement on large energy projects with a focus on energy, business and workforce development, and cultural and environmental consultation.
There is no substitution for education at the GS-12 grade level.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
