You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT in the MP&A DIRECTORATE, SECURITY OFFICE of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.

Duties

You will assist in the identification of required function and personnel for which security clearances are required. You will coordinate and conduct surveys for the establishment or revalidation of classified work and storage areas. You will advise and coordinate policy enforcement of formulation and oversight of the control, marking, storage, classification, transmission, destruction, printing, and reproduction of classified information. You will be responsible for the security of classified and sensitive unclassified information that is processed, stored, or transmitted on the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) and Non-Secret (NIPRNET). You will perform general administrative functions, to include preparing and typing office correspondence and generating security reports.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing, analyzing, coordinating, and/or managing the execution of all security related activities including personnel, information, automation, and/or physical security.
