You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Ordnance Operations and Logistics Branch (N042) of NAVY MUNITIONS COMMAND, CONUS WEST DIV.

Duties

You will serve as Ordnance subject matter expert and oversees the N042 staff within the Ordnance Support Office. You will provide logistical management, planning, execution, and support across the full spectrum of Ordnance Support programs and NMCPAC CWD activities. You will perform ongoing and continuous evaluation and analysis of the readiness posture of the Fleet support structure. You will coordinate directly with COMPACFLT and subordinate command Reserve Liaisons for the mobilization requirements and training of the Reserves. You will oversee quality programs and tracks quality performance of NMCPAC CWD activities. You will perform the full range of supervisory functions. You will provide staff support, consultant, and advisory services to NMCPAC CWD for matters affecting overall ordnance management.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical and administrative oversight for an ordnance logistics program to evaluate the processes and capabilities and the efficient application of administrative resources.
