This position is located in National Capital Parks-East, in the External Relations Division.
The incumbent reports to the Superintendent, supervises volunteer, youth and grants management staff, and manages the development, execution and monitoring of agreements for NACE's partnership and financial assistance programs.
Duties
The major duties of the Budget Analyst position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Leadership and Partnership Development: Guide NACE senior management in creating and managing agreements that align with strategic goals, while fostering customer-focused partnerships with public and private entities.

To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level, you must possess all of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: (1) Developing and monitoring grants and agreements; (2) providing guidance, assistance, and support to partner-managed operations; (3) managing a youth program or planning and coordinating volunteer program management including recurring and large-scale projects or events involving volunteers, youth, or partner groups; (4) tracking and evaluating administration of external partnerships. You must include hours per week worked.
To qualify for this position at the GS-13 grade level, you must possess all of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:

This experience includes activities such as: (1) Managing and providing leadership and advice in development of agreements and grants; (2) managing a youth program or planning and coordinating volunteer program management including recurring and large-scale projects or events involving volunteers, youth, or partner groups; (3) tracking and evaluating administration of external partnerships. You must include hours per week worked.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
