The position is located in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Program Management Organization (PMO). The PMO provides program and acquisition management for the systems and capabilities that modernize and sustain the National Airspace System (NAS) to advance NAS programs from concept to operation while providing technical support for air traffic control automation and decision support systems.

Duties

The position is assigned to AJM-2400 Terminal Field Operations Support Group which supports several systems to include but is not limited to the following: AEFS (under TFDM) ARMT; CARTS/ARTS-IE/IIE/DBRITE; EFSTS; STARS Second Level Engineering; Terminal Shared Services and the Surface Management Advisor (SMA).

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).

This experience must have provided a comprehensive knowledge of appropriate air traffic control laws, rules and regulations. Creditable experience must have equipped applicants with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the full range of duties of the position for which application is being made.Specialized experience is: Experience evaluating and analyzing all facets of air traffic control (ATC) operations and activities pertinent to automation systems, including recommending modifications, enhancements and problem resolutions to the ATC operational program.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their Work History.
