You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the DATA SCIENCE AND ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.

Duties

You will serve as the subject matter expert and manager of various Air Traffic Control (ATC) radar systems. You will oversee the design, planning and coordination of the Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) systems installation, testing and maintenance. You will manage radar hardware, operating systems, applications software, system resources and implementing security procedures. You will perform long and short- term planning for radar installations and maintenance. You will conduct market surveys, industry studies and execute engineering duties.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience with engineering or scientific principles, concepts, and methodology across the Command, Control,Computers, Communication, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Business Information Technology (IT) domain. Familiar with cybersecurity policies, practices, and techniques; RADAR systems and equipment. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
