You will serve as the Integrated Training Systems (ITS) Deputy Product Support Manager in the PRODUCT SUPPORT BRANCH of the INTEGRATED TRAINING SYSTEMS DIVISION for NAVSURFWARCENACT DAM NECK VA.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $136,323).
Duties
You will provide planning, management, and coordination of logistics support for cradle to grave Integrated product Support (IPS) management across the lifecycle of the BFTT/ATD family of systems.
You will provide expert guidance and oversite to project managers, team members, stakeholders, and peers on logistics support to ensure acquisition compliance and appropriation law is maintained.
You will develop and implement comprehensive product support actions required to support integrated training systems.
You will identify, plan and execute logistics efforts to ensure all aspects of the total systems life cycle are in place to meet project requirements.
You will develop and review program technical documents and provide input and direction on logistics/maintenance issues and re requirements.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower band NT-04 (GS-11/12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying logistics principles and practices to ensure the total integration of product support elements on combat systems or training systems to meet program requirements.
