You will serve as a Deputy Logistics with shared responsibilities and authorities as the Director for directing and managing the work of civilian and military personnel and ensuring Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance. This position is located in Virginia Beach, VA in the NAVY EXPEDITIONARY INTELL CMD -NEIC.
Duties
You will assist the Supply Officer in managing all supply and logistics functions associated with the command to include yearly budget, procurement, contracts, material management, and Table of Allowance (TOA)
You will perform duties with a wide range of related analytical and procedural management functions.
You will provide a wide range of knowledge of all military and civilian supply and logistics functions including Navy contract regulations, management, plans, policies, programs and directives.
You will produce finished products and prepare and present findings.
You will conduct direct liaison with Department of Defense (DoD) counterparts to facilitate interoperability.
You will manage supply and logistics related reach-back requirements and leverages existing DoD organizations to coordinate required support for deployed forces.
You will oversee obligations of execution year funding, review R-SUPPLY reporting and ensure reports are properly annotated with material disposition in accordance with standing guidance.
You will liaise with acquisition authorities to effectively execute command funding.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain Secret clearance.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Incumbent will maintain Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Government Purchase Card Agency Program Coordinator (GPC APC) certifications.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as the following: 1) Assisting in managing yearly budget, procurement, contracts, material management and Table of Allowance (TOA) related functions to identify and resolve problems; 2) Making recommendations and developing policy in support of program administration, to include basic principles, practices and procedures of a variety of daily supply and logistics functions to permit independent performance of assigned personnel; 3) Managing supply and logistics program correspondence and accounting formats within defined areas of responsibility; 4) Coordinating with contracting authorities to establish contract vehicles to efficiently execute command funding in support of highest priority requirements.
