About the Position: Serves as Supply Technician and manager of the hand receipt for the Ordnance Electronics Maintenance Training Department (OEMTD), US Army Ordnance School, Fort Eisenhower, GA. With Headquarters located at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA. Coordinates with the supported staffs in all activities and acts as an Advisor in all areas of the materiel distribution and supply system.

Duties

Responsible for performing inventory control management functions and accountability for all issued property. Coordinates with the supported staffs in all activities and acts as an Advisor in all areas of the materiel distribution and supply system. Serves as the central point of contact for requisitioning, receipt, storage, issue, inventory management and maintenance of equipment and supplies for the organization, including specialized and complex supply items.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
