About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Responsible for supply management for a unit within the 15th Signal Brigade.
Serves as sub-hand receipt holder for the logistics branch.
Acts as expert on all accountability-related regulations and technical publications.
Maintains accurate accounting and reporting systems for all property.
Performs requisition of supplies and equipment through on and off post sources.
Operates a government vehicle to pick up supplies, material, equipment and tools.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Lifting and moving various items, packages, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Indoor and outdoor work will be required. A pre-employment physical is a requirement.
- Incumbent must have a valid states' motor vehicle driver's license.
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite ? Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Standard Form 312, Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement, is required to be filed in the employee Official Personnel Folder (OPF).
- A qualified typist is required.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe One Year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by Thorough knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions to perform supply management functions such as property accountability, inventory control, and item requisition; Skilled at maintaining accurate accounting and reporting systems for non-expendable property and the performance of all the routine phases of property management; Ability to operate automated systems related to supply requisitioning and property accounting.
