Duties
Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to:
Supervises a team of three to seven operational planners responsible for working across the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to develop high-quality plans for emergent/unforeseen incidents and events, synchronizing the operational actions of the Agency
Develops, maintains, and evaluates strategic plans addressing policy needs and develops policies to govern operational activities.
Assess operational requirements related to emergent and regional incidents and events across the CISA mission areas and develop plans to address these requirements.
Assist and advise interagency partners in identifying and developing best practices for facilitating operational support to achievement of organizational objectives.

You qualify for the GS-14 grade level, if you have:
EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level (or equivalent) performing the following duties:
Leading the development and maintenance of deliberate, strategic, crisis or operational plans, strategies, and policies to support and align with organizational cybersecurity, infrastructure security, or regulatory compliance initiatives.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
