Duties
Responsible for leading the daily operations and execution of receiving, processing, facilitating, and responding to intelligence RFIs. Oversees the validation of incoming RFIs to ensure they comply with Departmental and organizational requirements and directives. Responsible for ensuring standardization and documentation of the RFI program and overseeing the training and education of RFI Managers.
Requirements
- Must be a current permanent Federal employee
- Must have supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment. DHS 250-2 Application Form under "required documents" section.
- Must NOT have any pending/outstanding disciplinary actions
- Must have achieved a minimum of "meet expectations/proficiency" on latest performance appraisal/evaluation
- Must be currently at the grade level of the detail. *No Temporary Promotion Opportunity*
- The program does not apply to members of the Military service or contractors.
Qualifications
Qualifications required:
Advanced skills in applying information gathering, fact-finding and dissemination techniques to ensure the necessary and appropriate information is available in a timely manner.
Advanced skills in leading a team in daily operations of mission requirements and overseeing training and education of team on improvements.
Advanced skills in applying quality control mechanisms against the IT tracking database(s) and/or systems to ensure the necessary and appropriate information is available in a timely manner for improvements in a program.
