You will serve as a Training Specialist within the COMNAVIFORCES (CNIFR) Training (N7) department providing management and training support to the command in the NIR FFC SUPPORT.
All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
Provide centralized support within N7, ensuring training management goals are met.
Conduct a variety of training program processes to ensure employees complete their training.
Provide required coordination with the School House Liaisons and leadership at Information Warfare Training Center and the appropriate personnel at the Commander, Naval Reserve Force Command (CNRFC) Training Office.
Advise and assist Reserve Unit leadership and training coordinators in accomplishing their Unit training requirements.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may requires a 2-Year DCIPS trial period requirement.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties such as: 1) Execute policies on training, quota control, management, and operational employment; 2) Ensure training sites, facilities, manuals and instruction materials meets the requirements for each area of responsibility; and 3) Provide quality assurance, feedback, improvement and/or correction on course materials developed and provided by outside organizations, agencies, and contractors;
OR
Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Have 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree;
OR
Have a LL.M., if related;
OR
Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
