The incumbent serves as a Program Specialist within the Office of Business and Mission Services, Business Services & Security Solutions Division (AXM-400).

Duties

Incumbent is a recognized subject matter expert responsible for highly complex and challenging activities providing operational, administrative and business services to support ASH business functions and mission. Typical duties include, but are not limited to the following: Performs Contracting Officer Representative (COR) functions for multiple and highly complex AXM program support service contract(s) that align with ASH’s business functions and mission; independently provides technical oversight to contractor(s); collaborates with Contracting Officers, ASH senior leadership, ASH program managers, and vendors to interpret technical requirements, recommend changes in contract terms, track obligations and expenditures for each contract by funding source and use; monitors and evaluates contractor performance; reviews contractor invoices and accepts payments in the FAA Purchase Request Information System (PRISM). Recommends corrective actions and inspect and accept contract deliverables.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Designated or Random Drug Testing required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, FG/GS-13 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE IS DEFINED AS: Providing technical oversight for minimally complex or moderately complex contract(s).Assisting with contract re-competes and new contract setups, prior purchasing experience with government purchase cardsInterpreting data to support decision-making; conducting briefings, and interpreting program requirements to acquire needed business services.ANDQUALITY RANKING FACTOR (QRF): A well-qualified candidate will have a COR Level III certification (preferred) or COR Level II certification with the ability to obtain COR Level III within one year.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
