You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Pacific Navy Liaison Office (NLO) in the MEPS Honolulu in Hawai'i (Oahu).
Duties
You will process personnel actions according to policies.
You will review forms, documents, and other related information from applicants and construct initial personnel records.
You will enter data into automated systems as required.
You will identify gaps and/or inconsistencies in personnel applications.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining personnel records to ensure they are accurate and up to date; 2) Providing guidance to personnel regarding human resources policies and procedures; and 3) Utilizing automated systems to perform administrative human resource support functions (i.e. reviewing personnel information for discrepancies, and preparing reports, briefings, and correspondence.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
