This position is in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of Fair Lending and Equal Opportunity (Fair Lending).
The incumbent leads the Office of Fair Lending and Equal Opportunity, which provides expertise and coordination to set the Bureau's strategy on fair lending issues-including efforts to rein in emerging activities by entities that prevent fair, equitable, and non-discriminatory access to credit.

As an Assistant Director, Fair Lending, you will:
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for this Executive-level position, you must have substantial specialized experience, which is defined as:
Experience with federal fair lending and anti-discrimination laws; AND
Experience using advanced technologies and artificial intelligence in credit decisions, access to credit, and/or emerging credit products; AND
Experience employing continuous process improvement to ensure people, processes, and technology are aligned and incorporated into an organization's mission; AND
Experience reviewing and evaluating organizational programs for the purpose of asserting their effectiveness against overall organizational goals and objectives, as well as experience designing and implementing program improvements to enhance organizational performance.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
