About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Work environment is cubicle-style office, with hours of work typically being Monday through Friday, 0730-1630.

Duties
You will serve as the Market Service Administrative Leader (MSAL) as a Market Service Line strategic planner,
manager, and technical expert involved in broad and far-reaching healthcare administrative and business functions.
Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in moderate discussions and meetings related to market operations as
request by the Market Service Leaders (MSLs).
Review and monitor Market Service Line Activity.
Monitor market-level metrics to identify trends, and proactively interpret data and provide the market service
leaders progress reports related to market service line priority tasks and metrics.
Oversee and report to Market Service Leaders on efforts directed at resolving ongoing market imbalances.
Facilitate and track provider placements throughout the market by working closely with Product Line
Administrators to monitor market-wide clinical capacity and beneficiary demand for healthcare services.
Review office functions for effectiveness and compliance with polices.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- The incumbent must complete training and meet position requirements for certification at Level FMC3 within 2 years of appointment. Failure to obtain and maintain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
- This position has mandatory seasonal Influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal Influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing complex healthcare data to ensure efficient delivery of healthcare; developing and preparing a wide range of reports; providing advice and guidance to senior leadership on healthcare and administrative operations; and identifying treads to provide recommendations to resolve problems or issues on the delivery of healthcare. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
