Duties

As a Origination Operations Officer you may:

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.

  • This positions is to be filled under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Inflation Reduction Act or Scientific, Technical, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) direct hire authority.
  • Incumbent will be required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
  • This position is not included in a Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS-15: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Developing policies and procedures and maintaining a library of up-to-date process documents (policies, procedures, handbooks, templates and forms) which are used in the origination of large commercial loans in support of federal policy. AND Managing internal and external audit requests (GAO, IG, KPMG) and experience in developing, implementing and managing Corrective Action Plans and process improvement procedures. AND Supporting Records Management Program that ensures all records are maintained in compliance with the agency records management program procedures and guidelines, including advising staff on methods and procedures for appropriate retention of various documents: communications, directives, forms, files, and other formal documentation during loan processing. AND Conducting analysis and audits to identify trends and opportunities to implement enhance oversight and developing periodic and ad hoc status reports. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
