You will serve as a FACILITIES SERVICES ASSISTANT in the Maintenance Division of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
Duties
You will establish and track all request for Facilities maintenance and repair work or services from initiation to closure.
You will act as the work reception/coordination point of contact for Individual Job Orders work requests within the Facilities Department.
You will ensure accuracy of customer identification code, facility number, job description, and job costing information while entering work requests into MAXIMO.
You will determine if work order needs to be coordinated with other directorates/offices and route work request to appropriate office for review.
You will act as customer service point of contact within the facilities department for inquiries regarding work request status.
You will receive and process all work schedules submitted by the respective shops personnel to ensure compliance with the commercial activities contract.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
GS-06:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with managing and tracking work request programs, purchasing material and services, performing general database computer management programs and software.
GS-05:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with managing and tracking work request programs and performing general database computer management programs and software.
