The incumbent will directly support the Joint Recovery Office and is also called upon to provide coordination and development of budget and finance, IT, logistics, safety, security and various cross-office issues; and to serve as an advisor to the Director of Operations. The incumbent will be expected to adhere to the highest degree of professional integrity and provide candid and expert counsel.

To qualify for this Executive Officer position at the IC-14 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-13 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Generating and applying new concepts for the solution of complex problems; Communicating both orally and in writing with senior-level officials of other Federal departments and agencies, senior representatives of State, Tribal, and/or local governments that have roles in emergency management; and Planning, organizing, and implementing program plans and proposals.
