Duties

You will perform work involving planning and coordinating the maintenance, upgrade and support of the End User Devised (EUDs). You will plan and coordinate the installation of new equipment and resolve end user problems. You will research, modify and develop business requirements to include training for new or upgraded computer hardware, software and peripheral equipment.

Requirements

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Generally, current Federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and stated in your resume.

Qualifications

GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, coordinating and maintaining End User Devices; install and maintain system software and hardware. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assist with planning, coordinating and maintaining End User Devices; install and maintain system software and hardware. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. GS-11 ONLY
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D.or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
