About the position: This position will be assigned to the Community Commons on Luke AFB, AZ.
Position is flexible. Includes no guaranteed hours or benefits.
Shift work including evenings, weekends and holidays
Duties
Assists in programs operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Special emphasis is on programs for families and family member and special groups such as retires, singles and private organizations, Types of duties include but are not limited to the following; Carries our recurring groups actives such as; classes, clubs special events, outreach, competitive games and events. Recommends new programming activities. Gathers information from number of different sources, including past programs and current popular programs in other communities. Assists individuals with special interests to develop clubs and special interest groups. Assist in promoting marketing strategies. Lead leisure activities and assists with services. Set up rooms to support meeting group needs. Collects deposits, and protect funds. Greet facility users and conduct facility tours. Decorates facility to reflect holiday and program themes. Reports facility repairs and maintenance requirements according to procedures. Have knowledge of new NAF-T System to includes NAFDIS (electronic preparation of AF 1876 and other related forms for accountability. Some knowledge of reporting system of NAF purchase card to include vendor programs, allocating purchases and reporting all transactions to bank as directed in new regulations. Complete monthly inventory at the end of each month. Understand the public health codes for the blitz lounge Oversee and assist with duties associated with rental of rooms and equipment. Complete daily reports such as cashier reports and bank deposits. Answers telephones and records all room rentals. Other duties as assigned.

- Overseeing Contractors for different programs.
- Creating new programs for the needs of the community.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Must have a current and valid driver's license.
- This is a drug testing position; incumbent is subject to random testing for drugs.

Qualifying Experience:
Skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties and ability to safeguard funds and equipment. The ability to work multiple programs at the same time. Experience which provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in the group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and or experience of recreational activities equipment, rules and procedures which involves recreational work in the areas of specialty in while the position is assigned. Possess skill in dealing with public.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
