About the position: This position will be assigned to the Falcon Dunes Golf Course on Luke AFB, AZ. Position is flexible with no guaranteed hours or benefits. .

Duties

Assists in the operation and maintenance of the golf course pro shop, driving range, course starter, course marshal, cart rental, club storage and caddy activities. Provide patron guidance for selection of golf equipment and merchandise. Schedules tee times, golf clinics, lessons and tournaments. Assists patrons with club and cart rentals, sell merchandise, process special orders and demonstrate equipment usage. Ensure all sales, fees and charges are rung up on cash register. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of golf course operations including the rules of golf, equipment sale and repair, tournament organization and handicapping. Customer service and cash handling experience.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
