This position is located in the Office of Accident Investigation and Prevention (AVP) within the FAA's Aviation Safety (AVS) line of business. This role supports AVP’s Data and Analytics Division (AVP-200) in their safety data and analysis efforts. Responsibilities include technical writing, data management, and data analysis.
Duties
The Business Project Manager is a recognized subject matter expert responsible for supporting the management of initiatives within the Office of Accident Investigation and Prevention (AVP) Data and Analytics Division and cross-collaborating with technical subject matter experts. Provides leadership for highly complex and challenging data management activities under the minimal direction of a manager. Serves as the principal specialist for developing new and innovative approaches, methodologies, and techniques to define and direct challenging projects and activities that involve cross-functional teams and the broader aviation safety community. Shares responsibility for the performance of programs/projects that frequently affect more than one LOB/SO or the FAA.
