Duties

You will serve as the Depot Manager and directly oversee all the engineers and technicians within the Depot on daily sustainment activities. You will manage all Depot matters which include financial reporting, sustainment history, trending analysis, and the direct Command representative for the NIWC Atlantic Depot with all internal and external customers. You will be responsible for Depot project reports, budgetary reports, and managerial reviews. You will provide Navy wide C4I systems support including operation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance requirements.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to a hostile area or CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Troubleshooting, Depot level maintenance of C4I electronic equipment and systems, and managing and maintaining Depot and Calibration labs, including planning to support future requirements.
