The Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst leads the development and integration of the Federal Transit Administration’s risk profile into agency operations.  You will work with program and Department officials across a broad range of issues (e.g. human capital information technology, project management analysis, internal controls, etc.) with the goal of improving and promoting effective risk management.

Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include: Experience applying and implementing administrative laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to Enterprise Risk Management; Experience utilizing analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to conduct analytical studies and/or projects relating to mission-oriented programs and utilizing the data analysis results to advise management on decisions affecting policies; Experience developing findings and recommendations through briefings and presentations to co-workers, executives, and leaders within and outside of the organization. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Risk Management - Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools used for risk assessment and mitigation, including assessment of failures and their consequences. Problem Solving - Identifies and analyzes problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; generates and evaluates alternative solutions; makes recommendation. Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Writes in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience.
