This position is located in Management Directorate, Office of Chief Information Officer, Enterprise Infrastructure Division.
As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist, you will direct, coordinate, and provide oversight and guidance to achieving goals, initiatives and critical work and provide guidance for an IT program or major program segment which has significant impact on the organization.
Duties
Planning, coordinating, and implementing organizational wide process improvement methods and concepts to improve quality of software
products.
Directing, coordinating, and overseeing work of subordinate supervisors and/or team leaders.
Providing expert technical advice and guidance to senior management officials.
Participating in meetings, conferences, hearings, and presentations involving problems and issues.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10/09/2024.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10/09/2024.

GS-15: You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Leading, partnering, and pursuing continuous improvement and results.
Providing administrative and technical leadership or supervision of subordinate staff.
Collaborating with others to facilitate capacity planning, work in-take, project management, incident management and workforce management.
Developing strategies, plans, and procedures which address IT system lifecycles and portfolio management.
Presenting recommendations for adoption of new methodologies and/or improvement of existing IT operations.
