You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST in the OPNAV N16 of PERS WASHINGTON, Arlington, Virginia.
Duties
Assign projects and tasks to team members to ensure efficient workload distribution.
Assist with all aspects of Information Assurance for OPNAV Headquarters and off-site locations.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the use of NI technology assets.
Identify professional development needs and recommend development opportunities.
Direct the day-to-day activities of team members.
Provide cost estimates for seats/services to be procured as needed.
Screen and approve task orders prior to submission for financial processing.
Manage and track NMCI contract service delivery to ensure compliance with contract terms.
Oversee and provide timely customer service to NMCI users in a highly customer-focused
environment.
Provide technical support for NMCI assets, including VTC session management and hardware
maintenance.
Process requests for changes and moves of various assets using established database systems.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 411-Technical Support Specialist level II within 12 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-13
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Deep understanding of the NMCI contract, including its processes, systems, and applications.2) Proficiency in contractual execution processes, particularly related to task order management and financial processing. 3) Familiarity with IT infrastructure components (hardware, software, networks) and troubleshooting techniques.4) Ability to create clear and concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT assets and processes.5) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Basic understanding of information assurance principles, incident response, and personnel asset management. 2) Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a highly demanding environment. 3) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.4) Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. 5) Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
