Duties
The Powerplant Dispatcher Assistant in cooperation with the Powerplant Dispatcher is responsible for the operation of water, pumping and generation equipment for the Grand Coulee Dam. Performs the operation of and/or is responsible for directing the operation of the following equipment: a combination of forty-three generating and/or pumping units with a power capacity of nearly 7300 MW. Circuit breakers, circuit switchers, power disconnects and grounding devices associated with multiple high voltage transmission and distribution switchyards operating at voltage levels of 11 5-kV, 230-kV and 525-kV. Electrical distribution sub stations and equipment operating at 13.8 kV, 6.9 kV, 2400 V, and 480 V/115 V levels.
Qualifications
