About the Position: Serve as a technical expert and advisor on data, analysis, tracking and reporting for project and program delivery across the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Great Lakes and Ohio River Division (LRD).
Management may select at the GS-12 or GS-13 grade level. Full performance grade level of the position is GS-13.
Duties
Serve as a technical expert and advisor on data, analysis, tracking and reporting for project and program delivery across the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
Serve as the regional subject matter expert in data analytics and visualization tools and methodologies in support of regional program management and business operations.
Developing, implementing, and sustaining automated data visualization reports and interactive dashboards used to track and measure a wide range of data quality and project performance metrics in support of multibillion-dollar regional programs.
Provide managers and leadership with critical information for making risk-informed decisions based on data analysis.
Perform critical analysis of data from agency enterprise program/project management and financial management automated information systems (AIS) to effectively evaluate data quality and report compliance in accordance with regional standards.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a valid State motor vehicle operator's license prior to appointment and maintain the license for the duration of employment.
- This position requires Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of at least 25% of the duty time.

Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes developing automated data visualization reports to track data quality and project performance metrics; providing leadership with information for making risk-informed decisions based on data analysis; and manage data visualization analytical tools.
Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes advising on data analytics, visualization tools, and methodologies in support of program management and business operations; implementing automated data visualization reports to track data quality and project performance metrics; and providing information for making risk-informed decisions based on data analysis
