Duties
Current DOL policy requires on-site work at least 5 days per pay period. This is not a remote work position. The selectee will report to an assigned DOL office location on a regular basis and is eligible for participation in telework as determined by management in accordance with DOL policy.

The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is a customer service organization dedicated to providing information technology (IT) solutions and leadership to advance DOL's mission. This position plays an expert role in performing administrative functions which promote the success of OCIO's core technology mission.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Requires a probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
- Candidate required to obtain the necessary security/investigation level.
Qualifications
You must meet the Specialized Experience or the Education Requirements to qualify for Administrative Services Specialist, as described below.
Qualifying education or experience for GS-11 includes:
For GS-11: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level GS-09 in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Specialized Experience:
Implements and oversees daily administrative functions such as technology support, telework, inventory, property disposal, receipt of goods and services, extensive case record keeping and case archiving, memoranda of understanding, among other general administrative tasks.
Experience in records management for a large organization.
Experience in training and development activities and analysis for a large organization.
Experience in safety and health issues analysis for a large organization.
OR
Education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, in a related field of study that demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work;
OR
LL.M., if related.
