About the Position: This position is located at the Defense Health Agency Pacific Rim- Directorate of Resource Mangement Financial Management.
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Duties
Correcting timecard errors to ensure accurate and timely corrections.
Running time and attendance reports for higher level echelons.
Resolving pay and entitlement problems unique to the customer.
Entering employee's schedule into electronic time and attendance system ensuring correct times and staff are maintained daily.
Answering requests to employees, supervisors, and other staff personnel specialists on pay related rules, regulations, and procedures.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
- This position requires Financial Management Level 1 certification

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) utilizing an automation system to maintain personnel records for time and attendance and/or payroll; and (2) providing customer service to resolve problems affecting time-card and/or payroll issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
