You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ASSISTANT of NAVDRUGLAB JAX FL.

Duties

You will serve as assistant to the Command Records Manager responsible for oversight, coordination, and reporting for all command file management plans. You will perform reviews and audits of departmental records to determine compliance with electronic record keeping regulations. You will review and follow higher authority guidance to maintain a current record keeping system. You will serve a primary point of contact for HR officials for matters related to general communication to all employees.

Requirements

  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is an obligated position. The former incumbent has return rights to this position under PL 86-585.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with DoN records management. Experience implementing higher level directives, regulations and guidelines to assist and train staff. Experience maintaining and developing administrative directives and identify the purpose, objectives, and requirements for various organizational programs and projects. Knowledge of DoN military and civilian personnel programs and associated data systems used to support and execute program requirements including DCPDS, TWMS, DFWP, NDAWS, BOL. Experience using DCPDS to prepare wide variety of Requests for Personnel Actions (RPA). Experience monitoring program compliance and making recommendations for change. Experience in written and verbal communication to provide concise and thorough advice, guidance and analysis.
