Duties

Serve as a Budget Analyst in the Institutional Budget Branch, Budget Division, Resource Management Directorate, White Sands Missile Range Test Center. Program budget estimates through analysis of items such as plans, goals and objectives for individual programs for the organization. Exercise fund control by participating in the forecasting process for the organization. Review financial reports to assess the performance of resources.

Requirements

  • This position is designated as moderate risk involving Public Trust. Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation including a credit check to determine suitability for Federal employment and/or the position.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11/NH-02). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
