This position is located at Departmental Offices,Office of Capital Access Chief Program Officer. As a Contracting Officer Representative (COR), you will be managing technical aspects of contracts and contracting processes.. Duties

As a/an Contracting Officer Representative (COR), you will: Develop and maintain processes to evaluate and monitor contractual performance to include but not limited to such actions as: delivery, cost, effective use of government furnished property, scheduling and usage of facilities and management of overhaul or maintenance and repair efforts. Request extensions, renewals, and modifications of contracts on behalf of technical points of contact. Perform continual planning to integrate the actions involving contractual obligations and responsibilities of both the government and the contractor. Advise program officials of the procurement objectives to be used and assists in the preparation of statements of work or performance work statements.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-14, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Specialized experience is defined as experience serving as an advisor or lead in the planning and execution of contractual actions and phases for an organization while interpreting, applying and modifying policies according to laws. Examples of this experience could include: Performing a variety of technical management roles, including monitoring the cost, schedule and performance parameters of all assigned contracts; including cost estimates, proposal instructions, award and termination; OR Developing objectives in terms of competition and price range and producing the contractual vehicle; OR Analyzing contract price and scope proposals to make competitive range determinations. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resumé. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
