This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Office of Human Resources. As aSupervisory Human Resources Specialist, you will direct a compressive human resources management program that includes Human Capital, Workforce Planning, enterprise-wide Training, Benefits, Retirements, Classification and Recruitment/Placement.

Duties

As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, you will: - Exercise full administrative authority for subordinate employees. - Provide guidance and make decisions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors, leads, or similar personnel, or by contractors. - Provide comprehensive human resource management services to BEPs workforce. - Approve subordinate OHR manager(s) and employee(s) performance goals for consistency with the Bureau's strategic objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-15: One year of experience at the GS-14 level that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position must include: - Advising on a wide range of HR services and applying principles, laws, regulations, or practices to solve HR issues. AND - Supervising and delegating work to subordinates. AND - Experience providing substantive input to the strategic planning of human capital resources for an organization. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14level for 52 weeks.
