This position is organizationally located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief of Operations, Superintendent House Office Buildings, Assistant Superintendent Client Services Division, Service Center Branch. The incumbent assists the Assistant Superintendent by serving as a Building Services Coordinator Leader in providing a variety of services to the occupants of the U.S. House Office Buildings (HOB).

To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-08 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: 1.) supporting the daily operations of the building; 2.) conducting inspections for cleanliness and maintenance; and 3.) having experience using systems to maintain data and records.
