This position is part of the Haskell Indian Nations University, Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). As a Cook Supervisor you will be responsible for providing wholesome meals to students at Haskell Indian Nations University.

Duties

As a Cook SupervisorWS-7404-8, your typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as the supervisor in charge of the college's food service program. Responsible for planning and carrying out food service program assignments, resolving most conflicts which arise and coordinating the work of others. Adheres to sanitary standards in handling food. Cover, label and date food items according to established policies and procedures. Clean assigned work areas; walls, ceilings, floors, worktables, walk-in refrigerators, and storage rooms. Weigh, measure, and assemble ingredients for regular, special, and modified diets. Prepare different types of food using varies methods such as braise, broil, simmer, bake, fry, steam, stew, and grill. Operate a variety of kitchen equipment which utilizes gas, electricity, steam, or microwave heat sources. Assemble and disassemble kitchen equipment for cleaning. Qualifications
