Duties
Responsible for operational oversight of the Planning Process Management team members at the site, and supports the execution of decisions, and policy guidance at the site, based on the direction of the Planning Process Owner.
Serves as a functional consultant and provides expertise for the disciplined and integrated management approach in the performance of demand and supply management business.
Manages the analyses of the planning process issues impacting the site and directs team members in formulating recommendations, executing actions, and monitoring results.
Examines new methods and developments in the areas of data processing/telecommunications; public/private competition; electronic commerce; and commercial best practices for potential application in Planning processes.
Manages development of appropriate business decisions and execution of actions that have a cross-process or cross-site impact.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify for the GS-14 grade level, specialized experience must be at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Developing and overseeing studies and analysis related to operational status and improvements to support Planning efforts within the agency and organization's demand and supply chains.
Applying a comprehensive knowledge of new technologies and best practices in the commercial field, which are applied in the development of innovative strategies and procedures to overcome process problems and to evaluate, maintain, and improve process performance.
Communicating, in writing and orally, at senior levels within the organization and across the agency.
Applying knowledge of systems related to execution of materiel management functions.
Mastery of a wide range of work methods and processes, analytical tools and skills, data management, operating procedures, and associated administrative operations impacting multiple processes throughout the organization.
Demonstrating knowledge of the major issues, goals, and objectives as well as process interrelationships throughout the agency.
Demonstrating the ability to supervise and manage a multi-functional team.
