Duties

Responsible for understanding system functionality and business capabilities related to planning. Recommends changes in how the process is executed, including system changes or other process improvements and assists Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) end users, and capturing any problems encountered by EBS end users. Acts as a focal point for gathering suggested improvements for their process. Monitors, analyzes, and evaluate KPIs, metrics, and other process performance critical data to ensure the process area is meeting its performance targets and identifies trends and other factors adversely affecting performance. Identifies areas requiring additional investigation into process performance, policy effectiveness, or system design and performance. Conducts surveys and studies involving the formulation, coordination, and implementation of plans and programs. Serves as point of contact for the development and implementation of policies for the assigned functional process. Analyzes, develops, documents and evaluates complex functional system requirements for assigned functional areas.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Supply Systems Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) or competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Monitoring, analyzing and evaluating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, and other process performance data. Conducting functional systems analysis to identify required system changes from new processes, procedures or policy requirements. Providing input for the development of new or substantially modified policies affecting planning. Evaluating additions to or changes in supply policies, programs and procedures. Coordinating, collaborating and communicating with customers and other process areas to continuously improve processes. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
