This position is located in the Region II, Division of Resource Management and Administration (DRMA), Financial and Information Management Branch (FIMB), in Atlanta, GA.
The supervisor is Clinton McGill.
This position is not subject to confidential financial disclosure or security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
This position is in the Bargaining Unit with the National Treasury Employees Union, Chapter 208.
Duties
The successful candidate will perform the full range of duties as a Management and Program Analyst.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. For GG-13: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at the grade 12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as experience which demonstrates expert knowledge of the principles of data analysis and analytical techniques to develop reports and translate information related to implementation of technical programs into effective management plans, evaluation systems, communication systems, resource planning and evaluation, and overall administrative support arrangements. Expert knowledge of Federal budget execution and accounting principles, policies and procedures sufficient to understand their relationship to financial plans, allowances, commitments, obligations and various reports consistent with applicable requirements and management directives.
The ideal candidate for this position must demonstrate the following:
Knowledge of the principles and theories of management analysis or program analysis sufficient to perform analyses, evaluations, and studies of programs or processes and reach definite conclusions and recommendations which will lead to management decisions, improvements, efficiencies, and better understanding and documentation of programs or processes. (Describe your level of knowledge and provide specific examples of the types of analyses, evaluations, and studies you have performed and their results. Describe your ability to or experience in developing consensus positions from various inputs.)
Knowledge of the principles, practices, and processes of financial processes and/or budget execution. (Describe your specific work experience, training and developmental assignments which demonstrate your knowledge of financial processes, budget execution and resource management principles, your ability to assess the status of financial and contractual information for the administrative controls of funds. Describe the types, scope, and complexity of financial activities you have participated in. What were your duties and responsibilities? Provide specific examples and accomplishments.)
Knowledge and understanding of administrative regulations, policies, procedures, and practices pertaining to financial, internal controls, acquisitions, and other organizational and administrative directives. Demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge through analysis and interpretation adequate to provide advice, guidance, and consultation to management staff. (Describe knowledge, education, training, and experience which demonstrates your knowledge and understanding of the administrative aspects of NRC regulations, policies, procedures, and practices for financial, internal controls, acquisitions, and/or organizational and administrative directives. Provide examples of the types of work assignments related to financial, internal controls, acquisitions, and/or other organizational and administrative directives you have performed where you, through analysis and interpretation, provided advice, guidance, and/or consultation to management or staff. Describe your familiarity with related technical and/or legal terminology.)
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
