Duties

You will be required to provide facilities staff management and supervision as well as supporting the Facilities Director in planning, budgeting, and administrative functions. You will manage the development and implementation of the Facilities Division’s annual and quarterly budget, planning, and execution reports. You will be the technical advisor for the Command’s MILCON Programs for major construction, repair, alteration, and equipment installation of special items which exceeds the Commanding Officer’s funding authority. You will develop and/or assist in justifying, developing, executing, and budgeting for complex projects that range in scope from service work requests to Special Projects for repair, construction, and maintenance.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • Incumbent is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating facilities programs, develop long-term objectives and milestones, and identify ways to resolve deficiencies.
