This HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) is located in the Air National Guard (ANG) Group Commander's Support Staff (CSS) and is part of the CA 129 RQW.

Duties

THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-9, is to administer and direct the Group Commander's Support Staff functions (Program Management, Office Administration, Technical Administration, Unit Training Program, etc.) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government and have at least 6 months experience with human resources programs related to federal civilian or military personnel programs. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience in executing personnel programs and Human Resources Information Systems and advising supervisors and managers; Experience in personnel and manpower core competencies; Experience in applying program policies, directives, publications, and training manuals. Education

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work required.
