You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ANALYST in the STRIKE FORCE RESILIENCY PROGRAM (FRP) of EXPLSV ORD DISP GROUP TWO.

Duties

You will schedule individual units of action for formal courses of instruction and follow up assessments throughout unit Optimized Force Readiness Program. You will keep managers advance of scheduled activities sufficiently in advance, by either personal presentation of information and material or by arranging for such briefings by subordinate staffs. You will perform a wide variety of office management and administrative duties to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the office. You will utilize electronic mail and calendaring systems, as well as various software packages to prepare reports and briefings and other forms of correspondence, in draft and final versions for public delivery and/or publication. You will obtains information, documents, files, and other material for use in phone calls, meetings, and speeches. You will utilize knowledge of office activities and supervisor programs to locate information or material, often in response to only general instructions.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will obtain and maintain American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Health Care provider, CPR and AED certifications.

Qualifications

To qualify for a GS-9, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Minimum of Two (2) years of experience working as an administrative or office environment. Experience programming with software-based interfaces (TeamBldr, Bridge, Kinduct). Experience organizing performance analysis of a large group of athletes. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite applications. Experience using Medical software. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR

OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
