About the Position: The mission of CCAD is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, and chemical, metallurgical and training support.

Duties

Leading or participating in enterprise operating system and application software deployments. Analyze functional and technical requirements of proposed or existing IT systems to determine avenues of development or modification necessary to meet mission objectives. Ensure project schedules and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established milestones. Update plans and recommend business process changes in response to evolving circumstances, resources, or objectives, and ensures deadlines and priorities are met. Counsel subordinates regarding career potential and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 17-Nov-2011.
  • This position requires one year supervisory probation period.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12) 1.
