You will serve as an ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT OPERATOR SUPERVISOR in the Range Training Area Maintenance Section of the OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.
Duties
You will plan weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
You will select workers and assign tasks to be performed, explaining work requirements, methods and procedures.
You will develop performance standards, counsel employees on performance and make formal and informal performance appraisals.
You will perform safety management responsibilities to include attending safety meetings and coordinating safety requirements with base range safety and installation safety officers.
You will ensure that subordinates are adequately informed of their responsibilities concerning hazardous materials/waste within the work area.
Requirements

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position requires the employee to obtain, possess and maintain the applicable license(s) or certification(s) to operate assigned equipment.
- The misuse of Government IT systems is cause for disciplinary action, to include removal.
- Incumbent may lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds for short distances. Work requires limited amounts of walking and standing. Work is mostly outdoors on the training range or in yards requiring extensive walking, standing, stooping, and bending.
Qualifications

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
