You will serve as a RECREATION ASSISTANT in the MCCS Department, Semper Fit Division of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
Duties
You will clean and maintain all outdoor recreation equipment, e.g., boats, camper, and grills using standard repair kits and hand tools.
You will take inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment and identifies the need for preventative maintenance of facilities, equipment, and areas.
You will maintain and keep records of all daily operations of outdoor gear issue.
You will oversee the maintenance preformed on various equipment, to include boats, campers, and other outdoor issue equipment.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing or assisting in outdoor recreation operations and maintenance; to include cleanliness, operability, and issuance of outdoor inventory and equipment.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, applicant can qualify through education substitution. To qualify through education substitution, applicant must possess:
4-year course of study above high school leading to a bachelor's degree with 23 semester hours in courses related to the occupation such as recreation or physical education.
