You will serve as a Recreation Assistant (Outdoor Activities) of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
Duties
You will use program policies and procedures in planning the activities of a recreation program for a military community.
You will complete a daily activity report to give status of recreational activity services.
You will set up and monitor demonstrations, training, and events for the facility.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Discussing with customers their needs for the facility to ensure daily tasks are met; 2) Demonstrating activities and/or the use of related facility equipment to verify proper use; 3) Interpreting facility policies and procedures to ensure facility goals are met; 4) Carrying objects up to 45 pounds and/or heavier object with assistance; 5) Operating a tractor without assistance to compete daily tasks; 6) Understanding REC trac systems and/or the operation and towing of power boats

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed four years of education above high school level leading to a bachelor's degree with major study or at least 24 semester hours in courses related to recreation or physical education. OR
Have a combination of experience and post high school education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
